Piano Lessons Duration & Pricing

The length and the structure of the piano lesson depend on the student’s age, level and goals.

30 min

  • Recommended for children up to 7–8 years old (shorter attention span).
  • Focus on a smaller set of activities.
  • Progress may be slower; not recommended for older students.

45 min

  • For older beginners and intermediate students.
  • Allows more activities (technique, sight reading), broader repertoire, and detailed work.
  • Faster overall progress.

60 min

  • Essential for advanced students requiring higher technical and artistic skills.
  • Necessary for RCM exam prep (Level 4 and up).
  • For mature students or anyone seeking rapid progress.
